It all began with a mix of pride and emotion when my daughter received her missionary calling. I remember that moment perfectly — the letter, the tears, the hugs, and the certainty that a new chapter was beginning, not only for her but also for me as a mother.
The day we said goodbye at the airport was deeply emotional. It felt as though a part of my heart was leaving with her. I knew she would serve with love, but I also realized that I needed to find a way to serve alongside her, even from home.
I thought about all the moments she would be far from home — her birthday, Christmas, and those ordinary days when a kind word or a small reminder of love can make all the difference — and I wanted her to feel the warmth of home, even miles away.
That’s when the idea was born: to create something that could connect mothers, families, and friends with their missionaries — a way to send not just things, but also love, support, and faith.
That’s how DerbiBox came to life — a space where every Box of Love is prepared with care, creativity, and purpose. Our goal is to help you share a little piece of home with those brave young men and women serving around the world, reminding them how deeply they are loved and remembered.
